We have accumulated 15 years of experience, but we are still curious and pay attention to proper engineering solutions and the latest design and communication technologies.
Due to experience in international GIZ, USAID, NEFCO, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development programs , we elaborated complex approaches to energy-efficient refurbishment of industrial enterprises.
Ecotermo Engineering is an EBRD-accredited energy efficiency consultant. Many projects developed by our team have been implemented with EBRD financial grants.

HISTORY & EXPERTISE
After the beginning of the energy crisis in Ukraine and the beginning of a rapid increase in energy prices, two entrepreneurial engineers decided to create Ecothermo Engineering. Soon they assembled a project team to develop complex projects for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and hot water supply for various objects.
We realized the first project with a geothermal heat pump for a private house with an area of 800m2 in the South of Ukraine.
For the first time, we have developed and implemented a complex industrial solution: heat pumps + ceiling heating/cooling for 11000m2 of production shops of PJSC FED. According to European-Ukrainian Energy Agency, this work became the best project of the year. Also, during this period, we implemented the first projects using decentralized ventilation systems for private houses, apartments, and commercial facilities and projects for sewage heat recovery in the water park and several multi-story buildings.
We conducted the first large-scale energy audit of a 68,000 m2 shopping complex. The audit results were the beginning of a program to improve the energy efficiency of the complex.
We moved to a new energy-efficient office of a group of companies in Kharkiv. The building in the center of Kharkiv was only connected to electricity, water, and sewage. We introduced a set of solutions for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and water supply, making efficient use of energy resources.
Participated in several projects with grant funds from international organizations.
We implemented projects on the heating systems of the Darnitskiy depot of high-speed trains, Severodonetsk Palace of Sports, and Children’s and Youth Sports School №1 reconstruction using water infrared heating systems.
An office in Kyiv is established. Development of projects using heat pumps and infrared heating/cooling systems.
We have developed and implemented the first waste heat recovery projects at industrial plants.
Ecothermo Engineering was involved in the municipal Kyiv program of school gyms heating systems renovation.
We have developed projects for kindergartens, schools, and administrative centers using energy-efficient technologies.
Waste heat utilization systems with heat pumps was implemented on largest Ukrainian manufacturer of dairy products.
We have implemented projects for heating systems for production facilities at two of Ukraine’s most prominent companies in the military-industrial complex.
We have implemented solutions for 30 houses using air and geothermal heat pumps, ventilation systems, and surface heating and cooling systems.
We have developed the first heating and air conditioning project for a private house in the USA.
We have developed the concept and feasibility study for a heating system for a rural dispensary together with the German energy efficiency agency GIZ. Also, we have implemented an energy efficiency project using process heat and a water-to-water heat pump for ASTEX Trading in Kharkiv.
We are engaged in consulting activities and expanding the geography of projects. We explore additional BIM software packages.
